🗑️♻️ TRASH & RECYCLING

Collection day is Tuesdays. Recycling is only collected every other week. We have a service that comes to pull the cans down to the curb and back up so no need to worry about moving cans. We appreciate you taking out your trash prior to collection day to avoid buildup in the home!

🏠📋 HOUSE RULES

To help keep the space clean and comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that you remove your shoes upon entering the house. Additionally, there is no smoking, no illegal substances, no unregistered guests and no parties allowed on the premises (inside or out). Please respect quiet hours for our neighbor’s sake and treat the space as you would your own home. We thank you in advance for respecting our home!

🚗 PARKING

The city of Blaine prohibits overnight street parking so please ensure all vehicles you came with are parked in the driveway.

Note: The garage is not available to guests.

Checkout is at 10 AM

Prior to your departure please complete the following:

  • Start the Dishwasher
  • Take Out Trash
  • Lock the Door on Your Way Out
📺 TV

Both the upstairs and downstairs living and family room TVs are smart TVs where you may log into any of your desired streaming services.

🌡️ HEATING & COOLING

Thermostat is located in the upstairs hallway. Feel free to adjust the temperature to whatever is comfortable for you during your stay. Please refrain from opening windows or sliding doors in the winter as they can get stuck open or get iced over by doing so. 

In the spring/summer months, please do not open the windows if you have the A/C running so we can avoid overuse on the system running.

🧺 LAUNDRY

If you need to do any laundry during your stay you are more than welcome to do so. Please ensure you empty the dryer lint trap every time and refrain from using any extra smelly scent detergents as we try to keep scents to a minimum in the home.

🧼 DISHWASHER

Dishwasher pods are located under the kitchen sink. Please ensure prior to your departure all dishes have been wash and the dishwasher was started.

👶🍼 BABY & TODDLERS

Pack n Play is located in the master bedroom closet along with mattress protector and sheets. At the end of your stay please put any used sheets in the laundry baskets and store back away the pack n play in the closet. 

High chair is located in the entryway front closet. Please ensure it is thoroughly cleaned after each use.

🔥 INDOOR FIREPLACE

There is a gas fireplace in the basement you are welcome to use in the winter months. Please ensure during use there is always someone in the room during its operation. Do not leave it on unattended. To turn on the fireplace & fan simply flip on the two light switches behind the mounted TV.

The pilot light for the fireplace is always running so you may see a tiny light beneath the wood but this does not mean the fireplace is on. 

To turn on – switch on both light switches behind the left side of the mounted tv. One switch is the ventilation fan and the other ignites the flame. When in use, the fan should also remain on.

🛁 HOT TUB RULES & MAINTENANCE

The blue chlorination cell MUST remain floating in the tub at all times to ensure proper water maintenance during your stay. 

Do not overload the hot tub causing water to overflow out of the tub and drop below jet levels upon entering/exiting as this results in jet malfunction. 

Max Capacity: 6 People

RULES:

  • To remove cover, unclip 2 buckles on either side of the steps and flip first half over the black bar to the far side, then lift folded halves up and off to side of tub where they will hang over the bar
  • Please ensure hot tub cover is replaced immediately after use and all 4 buckles are latched for secure storage
  • Do not sit or stand on cover
  • Do not adjust hot tub temperature outside of this range (95°F – 103°F)
  • Rinse off any lotions, soaps or perfume fragrances from skin prior to entering tub
  • Do NOT use hot tub while under the influence of alcohol, or other drugs that cause drowsiness or that raise or lower blood pressure
  • Unsupervised use by children is prohibited
  • Please limit use to 15 minutes maximum at a time as long exposure to heat may result in nausea, dizziness, or fainting
  • Keep all breakable items out of the area (No glass allowed)

CAUTION: Pregnant women or those with any existing medical condition should consult a doctor prior to use

MAINTENANCE:

To keep the hot tub clean and safe for guests, a maintenance technician may stop by periodically to test and balance the water. They only access the hot tub area from the backyard and do not enter the home at any time. 

This routine service ensures the hot tub stays clean, safe, and ready for you to enjoy during your stay. If you’re using the hot tub when they arrive, they will simply return later.

⛱️ DECK FURNITURE

During the summer months, a patio set is available on the deck (table, chairs and umbrella). If you raise/open the umbrella, please ensure you lower/close it and tie the strings after each use so wind does not bend or break it.

💧 WATER FILTER

This home is equipped with a reverse osmosis water filtration system that has an added filter to remineralize the water after filtration. You can find this filtered water faucet at the main kitchen sink on the left side.

💦 SPRINKLERS

Please be aware that when we are in the hottest and driest part of the summer, the lawn sprinkler systems may run during the early AM hours on odd days.
